Last night, June 25th, a powerful hailstorm tore through the Denver metro area, pounding communities like Thornton, Frederick, Broomfield, and areas along Highway 52 and I-25 with quarter-sized hail , lightening, RAIN and intense wind. We are still working on gathering the exact Northern Denver towns that were affected. We have teams ready to go survey the damage once daylight breaks.

The storm system that moved through the North Denver area delivered quarter-size hail (1.0") across several communities. In Thornton, residents reported widespread denting on Trucks & SUYs, broken car sunroofs, and chipped windshields. Frederick and areas along Highway 52 near I-25 saw some of the worst accumulation, with hail stacking up to 1–2 inches deep on roads and driveways. In Broomfield, fast-moving hail damaged dozens of automobiles parked outside homes and businesses, and even led to shattered glass on several SUV rear windows. Neighborhoods in north Denver proper also experienced brief but intense bursts of hail that left visible damage to hoods, roofs, and trim on cars and trucks alike.
